Land Clearing
From wooded tract to workable ground. We clear, grub, haul or burn as the permit allows, and leave a site the grading crew can start on the same week.
Scope
What is included
Anything not listed, ask. We will tell you straight whether it is ours.
-
Tree and brush removal
Forestry mulcher for brush and small timber, excavator and grapple for the rest. Merchantable timber sorted where it makes sense.
-
Grubbing
Stumps and root mat pulled, not cut flush, so the subgrade is clean.
-
Haul-off and disposal
Debris hauled, chipped or burned under the permit. Nothing buried on site.
-
Erosion control at clearing
Silt fence, construction entrance and inlet protection in place before the first tree comes down.
-
Selective clearing
Tree-save areas flagged and fenced to the plan. We work around what the owner wants to keep.
How we run it
On the job
- Clearing limits staked and walked with the superintendent before we start.
- Erosion measures go in first, so the site passes inspection from day one.
- Cleared material handled under the permit, with tickets kept for the record.

Questions we get
Do you handle the burn or disposal permit?
We coordinate it with the owner or GC and work to whatever the county approves. Chipping and haul-off are always available if burning is not.
Can you clear around trees we want to keep?
Yes. Tree-save areas are flagged and fenced to the plan before clearing begins.
